HELP THE MENTALLLY CHALLENGED There are two kinds of handicapped in the world. Mentally handicapped and Physically handicapped. Physically handicapped people can understand about their privileges and can ask for the benefits provided to them by the Government but on the other hand Mentally handicapped can neither understand about their rights nor they have the intelligence to ask for that. Mentally challenged people are that ignore section of society which needs our help. There are 0.89% people Mentally Retarded in India. Its not a small figure. Two main problems are acting as obstacle in the way going for the development and welfare of Mentally challenged children. Some parents are not ready to accept that their child is a mentally challenged In rural areas ,where people are illiterate, they try to make benefits from their child. They have the poor mentality that if they would let their children to go special zotrim España school then what the government will provide to them.To overcome these problems and to create awareness in the society many organisation are running. One of these organisation is “SHUBHASHEESH SHIKSHA EVAM VIKAS SEVA SANSTHAN, RAEBARELI”. Shubhasheesh Sansthan as a group of parents, guardians and other enlightened members of society is fully devoted with missionary zeal to the cause of welfare of mentally challenged children with Mental retardation,cerebral palsy,austism and multiple disabilities. Shubhasheesh sansthan is working in this field since 1998 and are recognized for its devotion to the cause of mental retardation and allied problems.Shubhasheesh sansthan is running a day care center and residential service center along with vocational training center for mentally challenged boys/girls. Its campus is situated in easy to approach area of RaeBareli city in lush green surroundings on a plot of 3000 sq. m.
